New Ardor Community Hackathon has been announced!

Are you a skillful developer or talented designer? The Ardor Community Hackathon is your chance to show it! Organized by Squirrel Systems LLC (which developed also the Ardor Lite wallet and ardor.tools block explorer), the hackathon is centered around improving the Ardor experience and help growing the developers community. The prize pool is provided by donations and currently exceeds $16000! The hackathon will be open for submissions until August 15, 2020. The QualiSig project gets a mention on Big Think

The Ausrtian government funded and Ardor/Ignis powered QualiSig project, which was extensively covered last week by leading blockchain media, now got a mention in Big Think as well - this time as part of an article focused on the diminished citizens' trust in the governments around the world and their ability to handle data in a transparent way. Lior Yaffe and Alexander Pfeiffer were also quoted about the advantages of blockchain technology to help increase the trust in governments.

Triffic, Cycle4Value and Ride2Park selected to present at Mobility Talks

Three Ardor based project were selected to present their use cases at the upcoming Mobility Talks organized by EIT Urban Mobility and Jelurida. The presentations will be part of the startup showcase of the online event which will take place on July 09. We remind our readers that the event will be closed with a panel discussion with Lior's participation. Registration for the event is still open.

The new Ardor version covered in Chinese media

Ardor technology is gaining more visibility lately in China and it is no surprising that the new version which was released last week got some coverage too, by key opinion leaders and (social) media outlets such as Jinse blockchain, Weibo, Zhihu, 8btc, Tencent news, Baidu news, and 10+ others different places reaching a total of 20k+ reads and 500k+ potential views.

After publishing a page for Ardor, last week SimpleSwap dedicated a section for Ignis too. SimpleSwap's goal is to be an easy-to-use platform for cryptocurrency exchanges that works without registration and limits. Ardor and Nxt node rewards program running 3 months with great success!

Three full months have passed since we started the Ardor and Nxt node running rewards program and so far it has been more than successful for both Ardor and Nxt platforms. The number of online nodes now is steady above 1000 for each of them, making our public blockchains even more resilient and allowing the users to benefit from better connectivity and improved overall experience.
