New Ardor 2.5.3 Version Released!

Ardor 2.5.3 is now live, and it’s a mandatory upgrade for all testnet nodes. With the Nxt migration proposal approved, the network is gearing up to launch the Nxt child chain on testnet. A testnet hardfork is set for block 20200200 (expected Dec 15, 2025), activating the new chain using a snapshot of Nxt mainnet from block 5917500. The mainnet activation will follow in late January 2026, based on a snapshot at Nxt block 6000000. Key updates: Testnet balances - migrated accounts receive 50% of their Nxt mainnet holdings, aliases and currency names included in the snapshot, updated JPLSnapshot add-on to take snapshots of Nxt child chain balances for clones of Nxt after migration, pagination added to Open Asset Orders, and improved peer networking for stability.
