But today is also the day when the Nxt block forgers have decisively committed to integrate the Nxt token as a child chain of the Ardor blockchain platform, approving the migration proposed by Jelurida. With this migration, to be finally completed in January 2026, the Nxt token will get access to all present and future functionality available on the Ardor blockchain, and will be available for decentralized trading on the Ardor Coin Exchange and on the Ardor Asset Exchange. Nxt was launched in 2013 as the first pure Proof-of-Stake blockchain and has maintained 12 years of stable, reliable performance. Its strong technology, rich feature set, and dedicated developer community continue to keep it relevant in an evolving landscape. Now, the proposed migration — bringing Nxt into the Ardor ecosystem as a child chain — represents a new beginning.
