Stein Digital Exhibition on Ardor hits Chinese media

“The Workers of the Stein Tobacco Factory (1850–1991)”, a unique digital heritage project hosted on the Ardor blockchain, has recently gained attention in Chinese media, highlighting its international cultural impact. This powerful initiative is the result of a meaningful collaboration between Donau University Krems and the Nxter/SIGBRO team, and serves as a digital companion to the physical exhibition. It invites visitors to explore the stories, lives, and legacy of the workers at the historic Stein Tobacco Factory, brought to life through immersive storytelling and blockchain technology. To commemorate the experience, the first 1,500 digital visitors can claim a non-tradable NFT badge via the SIGBRO app on Ardor. Each badge is unique, verifiable, and permanent — a modern digital collectible that mirrors the sentiment of a limited-edition art print.
